 Our
submarine gels have several unique features . The UV-T gel trays have
notches to keep gels from floating or sliding and a unique tape-free
aluminum bar casting system . The vented cover functions as a stabilizer
and allows easy loading through the cover .The system includes an internal
port making buffer recirculation on a stir plate possible .
The MINI - CHAMELEON has a
centimeter ruler etched into the gel tray which casts a ruler into each
gel . It includes apparatus , connecting cables , three 7x10 cm gel trays
, 4 aluminum casting bars , three 8-well and three 14-well combs . The
CHAMELEON can accomodate up to five combs and allows for simultaneous
electrophoresis of a maximum of 120 samples with a 2.5 cm path length .
Ideal for PCR samples .
