The Rainin SP™ elegantly blends superior ergonomics with state-of-the-art technology and the industry’s fastest recharge time to conquer your most challenging liquid handling needs with speed and ease. It’s ideal for transferring growth media and other liquids for cell cultures, bacteria and yeast cultures, and sample prep (DNA/RNA/protein extraction). You can also use it to transfer liquids such as buffers, chemicals and other reagents.
 

Variable Speed, Low-Forces

Easily adjustable aspiration/dispense speeds offer greater flexibility with various solutions and media, and pressure-sensitive speed controls provide smooth, low-force aspiration and dispensing to protect sensitive cells.

Lightweight, Comfortable to Use

One of the most lightweight and easy to handle serological pipettes available. The ergonomic design makes the angle grip of the SP fits comfortably in your hand without the need to grip it too tightly. Included support frame allows the instrument to rest on the bench between uses.

Wide Range

Works with all types of 1 mL to 100 mL glass and plastic serological and micro pipettes (1 mL, 2 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL, 25 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL), and can transfer liquid from 0.1 mL to 100 mL.

Powerful Battery

When fully charged, the lithium battery delivers 15 hours of operation and up to 1 hour of operation after just 10 minutes of charging. Includes an LED display that indicates charge level and is fully operable while connected to a power source..

Contamination free

A built-in check valve and replaceable 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane filter protect internal components. The adapter housing and pipette adapter are autoclavable.

Compliant pipette

Service records, cycles and status data are recorded to the XLS pipette's embedded RFID tag and are completely tamper proof, in full compliance with GLP/GMP standards.

Problem-free pipetting of problem Liquids: The Positive Displacement Pipette Pos-D is specially suited for liquids with high densities, viscosities or vapor pressures. A disposable piston, which moves within a plastic capillary, makes direct contact with the liquid. The positive wiping action of the piston against the capillary wall assures complete dispensing without droplets. Given the disposable capillaries and pistons, positive displacement absolutely eliminates cross-contamination from aerosols, samples or pipette.
 
The pre-assembled capillary tips are easy to use and also fit Gilson Microman®.
